Police: 8 pounds of THC seized from residence in Janesville, 3 arrested

JANESVILLE, Wis.--- Three people were arrested following a drug distribution investigation in Janesville.

The Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit and the United States Postal Services Inspectors worked the investigation together.

Around 1:05 p.m., a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 1000 block of Laurel Ave. in Janesville. Authorities seized 8 pounds of THC, an estimated street value of $9,500 to $11,000; 33 grams of THC wax, estimated street value of $250 to $300; and drug paraphernalia.

Merissa N. Gonzales, 19, of Janesville, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver THC, maintaining a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shawn D. Haggerty, 22, of Janesville; and Tucker L. Dutcher, 20, of Janesville, were arrested for party to a crime, possession with intent to deliver THC, maintaining a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.
