Democratic Gov. Tony Evers has picked three retired judges to select members of a nonpartisan redistricting commission he created to draw legislative and congressional boundary maps following this year’s census.
The Baraboo Police Department is still investigating the official cause of death for 10-year-old Kodie Dutcher after she was found in a field near her home after she was missing for 19 hours. Police report that Kodie left a not threatening to harm herself and her family believes she may have taken pills. The president of Wisconsin’s chamber of commerce is renewing his call for the state Department of Health Services not to publish the names of businesses traced to two or more positive cases of COVID-19.
According to a release issued by the Governor’s office, Wisconsin Emergency Management will begin shipping more than 2 million cloth face masks and more than 4,200 infrared thermometers to K-12 public, charter and private schools throughout the state.
