Snow will be likely across all of southern Wisconsin but milder afternoon and evening temperatures will lead to a rain snow mix or a change-over to rain for the far southern part of the state.

APRIL 7, 2020 5:00 a.m. THE NBC15 WEATHER AUTHORITY FORECAST FROM METEOROLOGIST CHARLIE SHORTINO: WEATHER IMPACT TODAY IS LOW (1) DUE TO SHOWERS. A warm front will edge in from the south today. This front will bring very mild temperatures to the region with highs today expected in the upper 60s to mid-70s. A few isolated showers are possible later today as well. A cold front will sweep through tonight and bring cooler temperatures to the area for Wednesday. Another cold front will move through Wednesday evening. Even cooler air is expected to fill in behind it. Highs by Thursday will only be in the 40s. Dry conditions are expected Thursday and Friday.

Bob Gay passed away during the coronavirus pandemic on April 1. Gay's immediate family was able to say goodbye in person during his final days, but not his friends, including fellow veteran Johnny Simmons.
