Widely scattered showers and storms will be possible Thursday morning into early Thursday afternoon, then there will be a slight chance of showers and storms late Thursday afternoon through Thursday night. Strong to severe storms are not expected. Locally heavy rain will be possible.

MAY 25, 2020 5:00 a.m. THE NBC15 FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST CHARLIE SHORTINO: We have another warm day coming up for this Memorial Day. Highs are expected in the low to mid-80s for the southern part of the state. We will also have higher humidity levels in place as the dew points will be in the 60s through the day. A cold front is situated to the west of here but it will remain nearly stationary for the next couple days. There is very little chance of rain today and if we see any, it will be a brief shot. Rain chances increase tomorrow and Wednesday and rain will be likely both afternoons.
